Heritage Homeowner Occupied Program

On March 8th, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced new citywide housing initiatives to strengthen affordable housing opportunities in the City of Atlanta that includes the Heritage Owner-Occupied Rehab Program. This program provides forgivable loans to residents to make critical health and safety repairs on their homes. The program will be implemented by Invest Atlanta with the support of the Atlanta Housing Authority, Choice Atlanta and the Atlanta City Council.

Invest Atlanta is conducting citywide information sessions for residents as shown on the list below.

“It is my goal to ensure that all eligible residents have an opportunity to be assessed and take advantage of this great program” said Councilmember Young. While much opportunity for improvement remains throughout the district, he looks forward to continuing efforts to enhance the quality of life of residents of Atlanta City Council District 3.
